Andrew Sharp is a main character in the Frasier-based fan fiction spin-off Crane Life.
Andrew first appears on a recurring basis in Season 3 and 4. He becomes acting manager of the practice following the death of Harold Mead, but later resigns after winning the lottery. Two years later, Andrew resumes his management duties mid-way through Season 6, revealing the lottery was a scam, and that he returned to Mead shortly after his initial resignation. Andrew immediately has an impact on the stability of the practice, firing Dr. Liz Winters at the end of the season. Andrew is able to mellow in his role in the following two seasons, making several acquaintances during his tenure. Sometime between Season 8 and 9, Andrew is "phased" out of the practice by the company for being too lenient. Edith Beaumont is drafted in as his replacement. Andrew makes one last attempt to get his job back by enlisting religious nutjob June Archer to dig up dirt on Edith, but ultimately resigns himself to fate and leaves Chicago to further himself elsewhere.
