Debbie Simmons is a main character in the Frasier-based fan fiction spin-off Vintage Roz.
Debbie is introduced as the host of an advice show on WKZT. She initially clashes with Roz Doyle and Angela Porter-Price over Roz's decision to hire Angela as station manager. However, she soon realises she is satisfied with her career choices and ultimately makes several friendships while working at the station. She develops a close bond with Gil Chesterton, and has somewhat of a schoolgirl's crush on him which is continually unreciprocated. At the end of Season 3 Debbie is inspired to run Café Blossom with Gil, fulfilling a childhood ambition of hers. This partnership lasts until Season 5, when Gil sadly passes away. Debbie has trouble coping without her best friend, and runs the café with Dino Luther for a further year before leaving Bloomer prior to the start of Season 7.
